2023 – VOL. I “SIGNS OF THE TIMES”

The first edition of Signs of the Times, subtitled “International Tattoo Art in the Sign of the Times,” presented works by tattooers from various countries.
Its focus was to bring the art of tattooing out of the studios and into the public sphere – as a visible part of contemporary culture.
The exhibition invited viewers to see tattooing as an artistic practice that engages with social, aesthetic, and personal themes.
With this, Signs of the Times laid the foundation for an ongoing series dedicated to making tattooing visible as art.
